Maker Workshop: Silly Sculpture
Jan 18 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

In this workshop we will explore line, shape, color, size, and space. Working with cardboard, wire, clay, and more, explore different ways of sculpting, and create original works of your own!

In PlayHouse Maker Workshops, kids and families learn to use tools, experiment with different types of making, and think creatively! This program is designed for kids 3-12 years old. All children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

 

 

How to register:

  • Register in person at the PlayHouse, by phone at (309) 323-6900, or online. Those who are Explorer Members must register in person at the PlayHouse.
  • Members will receive their discount by entering the code:  PH2019MW at checkout online. Current membership status will be verified.
  • Registration closes the Wednesday prior to the workshop.

The PlayHouse has switched to a new program registration system. There are so many fun animals in the farmyard. Cows and sheep, pigs and goats, chickens and ducks, and so much more. Can you make the sound of your favorite animal in the barn?

Gliders, kites, airplanes, balloons, rockets…what else can you think of that flies? Come learn some basic principles of flight, and build some fun contraptions that can take the air!
