PlayHouse PlayDates are an EXCLUSIVE members-only PlayHouse staff-facilitated experience on Tuesdays at 10am. This program is perfect for ages 2-5. Join us on our usual Members-only Tuesday Morning for a guided activity, a visit from an animal at Forest Park Nature Center, and a dance party. Peoria Public Schools Foundation’s See It. Be It. career exploration program drives student excitement and interest in career options through experiences with working professionals. Students in K – 5th grade meet face-to-face with people in various occupations to learn about jobs and the corresponding skill sets required to be successful in a career. Simply, if they can See It, they can Be It.
Everyone loves a good story! Explore some with us covering a variety of topics including holidays, cultures, and languages with people from our community. Most StoryTimes will be bilingual with a language related to the culture or holiday we are covering.
Virtual StoryTime will be posted on Facebook at 10am CST every Friday, and uploaded to our YouTube channel.

Starting in October, Virtual PlayDates are on the first and third Thursdays of each month, and are for PlayHouse Everywhere Members only. Advance registration is required (via Zoom).
Live PlayDates are at Forest Park Nature Center; they are free for PlayHouse Everywhere Members and Forest Park Nature Center Members and $5 for non-members. Registration is required (via the Park District’s WebTrac system).

Be Anything! is an innovative program that propels “Take Your Child to Work Day” to a new level. All children can be anything; they need only the tools and opportunity to imagine, practice, and become!
This online auction features experiences with 50+ local professionals, ranging from police officers to ballet dancers to Illinois State Representatives. Help a child in your life explore the careers that excite them through Be Anything! experiences.
