During this program for children 1 to 4 years of age and their grown-ups, children develop language, small motor skills, and social skills while engaging in hands-on exploration. Each class includes songs and musical instruments, a read-aloud story, time for play, and a visual art activity. Look for a different theme each week!
Advanced registration is recommended. Cost (children only; no additional cost for adults accompanying children): $3 for members, $5 for non-members. Fee does not include cost for museum admission.

Discover our world through maker activities, walks in nature, and stories. This program is for preschool-aged children and their parents, and takes place at Forest Park Nature Center, in the picnic zone, so dress for outdoor fun!

Join us for a puppet party! This free program is part of a research partnership with Bradley University, during which children will be learning empathy skills. Your 2-5 year old will meet and play with puppets and help the puppets enjoy their time at the PlayHouse! Saturday programs are single-day sessions, where Tuesday programs are month-long sessions.
