Who doesn’t love learning while playing?!

During this program for children 1 – 4 years of age and their grown-ups, children develop language, small motor skills, and social skills while engaging in hands-on exploration.

Each class includes:

  • songs and musical instruments,
  • a read-aloud story,
  • time for play, and
  • a visual art activity.

Look for a different theme each week!

January Weekly Themes:

  • 01/09 – Construction Vehicles
  • 01/16 – Animals*
  • 01/23 – Getting Dressed
  • 01/30 – Weather

*On the 3rd Thursday of each month, we have an extra fun session with special guest, Robin the puppeteer.

Advanced registration is recommended. Register Here

Program Cost (children only; no additional cost for adults accompanying children):
$5 for members, $7 for non-members.
Fee does not include the cost for museum admission.

Program Cost + PlayHouse Admission for the Day (non-members only):
$17 per child and $11 per adult.

Black History Month Celebration @ The Peoria PlayHouse Children's Museum

February is Black History Month, and we’re celebrating by honoring Black artists and their creativity. Join us on February 16 for a special Black History Celebration—kiddos can create their own artwork and turn it into a button using our Button Maker! It’s a fun and engaging way to explore self-expression while recognizing the impact of Black artists.

Discover our world through maker and S.T.E.A.M. activities, movement activities, and stories. This program is for preschool-aged children (ages 3-5) and their caregivers. Nature Niños incorporates Spanish vocabulary, songs, and stories in its program. Dress for messes and movement!

Dive into the fascinating world of ecosystems with Homeschool classes! Join Peoria PlayHouse on the third Thursday of each month at the Noble Center to explore Ecosystems! ✨🌍

Designed for children ages 5-12, this engaging program combines science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) to build critical thinking and creative skills.

Students will discover how ecosystems function, spark their curiosity about the environment, engage in hands-on activities in the maker space to create, imagine, and explore the interconnected wonders of the natural world.
