Community Partner Event:
The Junior League of Peoria and HOI United Way are excited to offer the Healthy Minds, Healthy Neighborhoods program. This free program provides educational sessions for parents and caregivers, complete with dinner and childcare. The curriculum, developed by HOI United Way, focuses on five key areas of social-emotional health: self-regulation, decision-making, self-awareness, building relationships, and social awareness.
- Sessions: Wednesday, October 9th, 16th or 23rd
- Time: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
The Junior League will host these sessions at the Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum. While parents attend the sessions, Junior League members will provide dinner and entertainment for their children. Additionally, all families attending will receive an explorer pass membership to the Peoria PlayHouse.
Registration is required and spots are limited. Please visit juniorleagueofpeoria.org/hmhn to register.
Please note, this is not a PlayHouse event, but a partner program.
This program focuses on parents and their babies, from birth to 12 months, giving them a place to gather and enjoy casual conversation with fellow parents while their little ones play. Guest speakers from partner organizations will lead discussions and activities related to infant growth, and development. The goal of this program is to support YOU as parents, and we invite you to both join and tell us how this program and community groups can best help you!
Free of charge for parent and infant (under one year of age.) May not be combined with additional admissions.
Brought to you by Family Connects in partnership with Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum.
