Join the Peoria PlayHouse in the Real Tools Workshop at the Bonnie Noble Center for an “out of this world” maker event! We will be using donated and recycled materials and our imaginations to create objects related to outer space!
Advanced registration is required. Cost: $12 per child for non-member families; $8 per child for PlayHouse member families.
Discover our world through maker and S.T.E.A.M. activities, walks in nature, and stories depending on the location. This program is for preschool-aged children and their parents. For some locations, dress for outdoor fun!
This winter join in on the fun every Tuesday mornings from 10 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. at Proctor Recreation Center! Each class will include a hands-on STEAM activity, a snack, and play time in our gym.
Accompanying adult(s) can join in the fun, relax, and/or utilize the Proctor Center’s facilities (workout room, TV lounge, computer lab, library) as well as using the kids’ gym with younger siblings during the learning activity.
During this tot program, for children 1 to 4 years of age and their grown-ups, children develop language, small motor skills, and social skills while engaging in hands-on exploration. Each class includes songs and musical instruments, a read-aloud story, time for play, and a visual art activity.
All the cool bugs are outside playing in the summer, just like us! Spiders, ladybugs, butterflies, ants, and more are flying and crawling all around us. What is your favorite bug?

This program is for children ages 5-8. However, all children under the age of 12 are welcome.
Join the PlayHouse and Active Minds for a four-week social-emotional health program that will build a closer connection with your child. While your child engages in play activities centered around understanding their own emotions, you can join us for a separate session to discuss how best to support your child’s range of emotions.
Emotions can be big, but that doesn’t mean they have to be scary. The Emotional Me allows your child to engage in interactive activities that will give them the ability to recognize and respond to their emotions.
Happening Every Saturday in February from 10 am to 11 am
