Maker Workshop: Pumpkin Chuckin 2.0 @ Bonnie W. Noble Center

How far can you chuck a mini pumpkin? Join the Peoria PlayHouse in the Makerspace at the Noble Center for an afternoon of fun as we work to create mini pumpkin launch devices using recycled materials, imagination, and problem-solving skills!

Advance registration is required.

This program is for kids ages 8 to 18 years old.

Join the Peoria PlayHouse at the Bonnie Noble Center in Lakeview Park for a special new program offering: Maker Collaborations!

Maker Collaborations is a partnership between the Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum and various Peoria Park District facilities focusing on MAKING WITH A PURPOSE. These special collaborations will bring together various Peoria Park District Facilities at the Peoria PlayHouse Makerspace at the Noble Center to offer families the opportunity to work on projects that will be utilized at various sites, such as creating animal enrichment for the Peoria Zoo and bird feeders for Forest Park Nature Center! A PPD staff member will lead a short content presentation about the project and then children and families will utilize the makerspace to complete their projects. All families will be encouraged to go visit their projects “in the wild” once they are installed/being utilized the Saturday after the program takes place!

All families will be encouraged to go visit their projects “in the wild” once they are installed/being utilized the Saturday after the program takes place!
