This summer, don’t just end the week — Make it a FriYay! Join us at Glen Oak Park for extended Friday fun at Peoria Zoo and Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum. More time to explore. More time to play. More time together.

Every Friday from Memorial Day to Labor Day (5/29-9/4), stick around a little longer and enjoy extra evening hours at two of your favorite destinations:
Peoria PlayHouse: Open until 6pm
Peoria Zoo: Open until 8pm (last entry at 7:30)

On select Fridays, June 26, July 31, and August 14, the fun ramps up even more with the Peoria Park District’s Rec ‘n Roll inside the Zoo. Jump into field games, try out STEM activities, and get creative with a hands-on maker project led by the Peoria PlayHouse team.

Keep an eye out for other special family-friendly activities and surprise pop-up fun throughout the summer. No two FriYays are exactly the same!
